Social Worker Mike is a passionate advocate for social justice, community empowerment, and mental health. With over 7 years of experience in the social work field, Mike has designed impactful programs, mentored hundreds of social workers, and consulted for numerous community-based organizations (CBOs), helping them achieve their mission through innovative strategies and resource mobilization.
His journey in social work is driven by a deep belief that empowered social workers can change the world, one community at a time.

My Journey
Mike’s passion for social work began early on, driven by a desire to help vulnerable populations and address social inequalities. Over the years, he has:
● Led multiple community-based programs focused on children’s mental health, leadership, and community development initiatives.
● Collaborated with NGOs, schools, and Social Work Associations to develop sustainable programs for marginalized groups.
● Spearheads initiatives that empower women, children and youth.
● Continues to play an instrumental role in organizing and commemorating World Social Workers' Days in Kenya, recognizing the contributions of social workers and advocating for better support systems.
Today, Mike continues to lead with vision and purpose, offering consulting services to CBOs and NGOs, while mentoring the next generation of social workers.
